The Idea Foundry opened to the public in February 2009, and is generally open during weeknight evenings and weekends.  However – until regular hours are established, please email in advance to schedule an appointment for your first visit: info at ColumbusIdeaFoundry dot com .

Where We Are

Our address is 2038 Leonard Ave, Columbus, OH, 43219, but our building is not visible from the street.  We are located at the back corner of the Millworks Art community, which is at 2034 Leonard Avenue, on the southeast side of Columbus, 1 minute from the Leonard Ave exit of I-670.

Please note:

The driveway into the Millworks is a tight turn near the end of the city block it’s located on, at the corner of Leonard Ave and Brentnell Ave.  If you’re heading East on Leonard, take a left into the driveway immediately before Brentnell Ave, and then park at the end of the paved lot.  To find our building, walk to the end of the paved lot; a large, 2-story building will be on your left.  At the end of the building, turn left onto a gravel road.  A large warehouse will be on your right.  Walk to the end of the warehouse and turn right.  Our brick building will be straight ahead, beneath a wooden awning, and has a sign with the number 2038 on it.  It’s about 200 feet from the parking lot.  If you’d rather not walk that far, feel free to drive onto the gravel road and to come right up to our building and park there; but please note, parking near our building is limited.
