Come learn how to pick locks, and more, at the Columbus Idea Foundry with Bill Sempf - president of Columbus Locksport International. L.I is made up of people who are interested in physical security, such as bypassing locks, learning new techniques for opening difficult locks, and connecting people.

Join our class to learn how to solve the puzzles provided by common pin tumbler locks and wafer locks, defeat security mechanisms, and generally enjoy the intrigue of popping a lock open without the key. Locks are just puzzles waiting to be solved. The $50 class fee gets you your very own lockpick set, which you can bring to future classes.  Attendees who attend  Locksport classes are invited to attend Bill's monthly Locksport International Meetup at the Foundry, the 3rd Wednesday of every month, starting at 6pm.
Locksport International and the Columbus Idea Foundry abide by the laws set down in each State or Providence (for our Canadian neighbors). Likewise we have our own code of ethics we adhere to. They're almost all common sense rules that you should always practice. You should never pick locks that you don't own, or that you don't have the owners explicit permission to pick. We enjoy helping the community, not hurting it.
