We’re always looking for respectful and proactive members to add to our community. We generally require that prospective members take a few of our classes, so that you become familiar with a few of our resources, so that you get a sense of the culture and community of the shop, and so that we can gauge your capacity to operate in a workshop.
Please note – the Columbus Idea Foundry does not discriminate in any way (race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, experience or inexperience in a workshop environment, etc). However, we do screen prospective members for their ability to operate, cooperate and collaborate safely, respectfully, and responsibly within a community environment, and members and students may be asked to leave if they are unable to comply with these terms.
